All students should have an opportunity to sit behind a drum kit, a trap set, to feel the physical reality of the snare, tom, kick pedal and high hat. Happily, we have prof Joe LeBlanc, musician and and teacher, to show us how they work.I've also asked him to show us the guts of a piano. We'll take a look at the felt-covered hammers that are part of the character of a pianoforte.
